Hello, world! My name is JJ Crass and I’m the new Marketing & Sales Coordinator for transform GSO.
Before coming to transform GSO, I graduated from Guilford College in ‘08 with an English Major and concentrations in Psychology and Communications. In college, I was a content creator for PixelatedGeek, a tech, and gaming website with a focus on reviews and podcasting. I found joy in collaborating on projects and sharing my love of some of my hobbies with others. Following that, I worked at the Greensboro Science Center for close to seven years. Being part of such a communal focal point for the city instilled local pride and also taught me how to showcase some of the best GSO has to offer.
Growing up, I wanted to be on Saturday Night Live, which led me to study in Chicago at The Second City Improv. While in college, I performed with Greensboro’s Idiot Box. One of the keys principles of improv is to “Make Your Partner Look Good”, and that’s something I hope to achieve here. Closing on my second week at transform GSO, I’ve seen such a wonderful coworking space that looks to foster and celebrate the community. I look forward to contributing to the voice of transform GSO.
